LIT STORY FEST

My Muse Arts, LLC, is excited to announce Lit Story Fest, a Literary and Storytelling Festival with a purpose of Lighting the Way to Literacy through storytelling in literature, art and spoken words. Hosted in conjunction with the DeKalb County Library System, this event runs September 24 – 29, 2018 providing access to books through entertainment, authors talks, storytelling and enlivened spaces. The Friday and Saturday events will be held at the Stonecrest Library (see www.LitStoryFest.com for details). All events are free of charge and open to the public.
Lit Story Fest is will feature StorySLAM!, a live storytelling competition, on Friday, September 28th from 6pm – 9pm at the Stonecrest Library. The Children’s Literary Day on Saturday, September 29th from 11am – 5pm at the Stonecrest Library.
Invited guests include award-winning illustrator R. Gregory Christie, The Gateway Mask Theater and many more!
Books, art, crafts, food and other memorabilia will be available for purchase.
