From the desk of Renata Brown: GANSPA is a celebration of the Arts, focusing on Neo Soul & Poetry. Since inception in 2014, the GANSPA Awards has honored outstanding community leaders in the Arts and Entertainment field. Past recipients include Radio Personality Joyce Littlel V-103/1380
WAOK, Actor Tommy Ford, Radio Personality SiMan Baby, Majic 107.5/97.5, Vocalist and Actress Angie
Stone, News Anchor JaQuitta Williams and Emmy Award Winning Poet Hank Stewart.

The GANSPA Organization’s mission is to support artists year-round as well as spotlight excellence through the
Annual Awards Ceremony. Raising awareness of Sickle Cell Anemia is a paramount objective.

This year’s GANSPA Awards Ceremony is going global. The winners will be announced live through a live stream
on NeoSoul TV, over their YouTube Channel. Those in the Atlanta area can join our “kick back” viewing party at
J.R. Crickets 886 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. NW, Atlanta, GA 30314. The party includes surprise performances
and special honors going to David Manual, Executive Director Porter Sanford III Performing Arts Center and FLO
formally Natalie “Floacist” Stewart of Floetry. In total 15 awards will be given to artists throughout the USA. Up
and coming designer Ariel Smith will present a mini runway walk.

The Ceremony will also debut GANSPA Awards Magazine. The cover will be unveiled featuring a five- time
Grammy Award nominee. You can also get the scoop on past nominees. Complimentary copies of the magazine
will be available while they last.

Kier’s Hope is our official charity. Kier “Junior” Spates of the Steve Harvey Morning Show is our official Sickle
Cell Goodwill Ambassador. We encourage donations directly to the Kier’s Hope Foundation in the name of
GANSPA Awards.
