Be Easy on your Neighborhood Blogger…lol

A letter from the editor…

FYI…blogging is not all peaches and cream, d (depending on the topics you blog about).

I am a lifestyle blogger, but I also do celebrity and event coverage.

Yes, we have fun, get fed and, drink and kee kee it up, but then eventually you have to go home…

Then the real fun begins. Uploading pics (God forbid it’s a red carpet, you can have HUNDREDs of pics from one night to choose from), edit the pics because someone has a pit stain or doesn’t like that their stomach is poofing out, write the post, publish it, promote it on social media, and pray your followers share it with other people.

It’s not that bad once you get the hang of it, but when you’ve done several events in one week, it can get crazy, especially if you have another job, children, dogs and cats, etc.  That’s when you have to learn time management (and sometimes STRESS management…lol), so be patient with a blogger (especially if you didnt pay them to be there).

I praise GOD no one pressures me like that, but I had a convo with someone today who was almost in tears because they were behind on their posts (most of us want to make sure the post is out within 24-72 hours after the event).

So in conclusion…lol…be patient with the people who (sometimes voluntarily) push your brand or event out to the public (especially if they’ve given you a dedicated social media post already).

Thanks for letting me share… #beEasy
