Billboard chart-topping artist William Murphy has a lot to be thankful for these days. He has a successful career, a thriving ministry, and a loving church family. While at the height of his career, Murphy still remains true to his core values of ministry. Murphy realizes that ministry and serving people should be a priority in the body of Christ. Following the voice of God, Murphy joined his dReam Center Church Atlanta family in hosting the #Soles4Souls benefit concert. All items donated were in support of Haiti Relief efforts.
Last Sunday, guests crowded the sanctuary of the South Dekalb church to donate their shoes. I’m sure they weren’t expected the concert to a Gospel FEST. Using the mantra, “Making the church GREAT again,” Pastor Murphy encouraged the entire congregation to embrace the spirit of worship. Regardless of religious affiliation, The dReam Center Church made everyone feel welcome to have an encounter with the spirit of God. The benefit concert featured special guests Grammy Award winner Tasha Cobbs , Pastor Miah White , Dirk Chaney’s “Chosen Aggregation” , The Wardlaw Brothers , The State of Georgia Full Gospel Mass Choir , LaTrice Pace and Pastor William Murphy III.
