The Saturday Night Soul Series Kicks off with the ALL ATL SHOW!

The Fox Soul Series seeks to send the message that “Good Music Still Lives!” while continuing to support artists whose music is the soundtrack, and in some cases, a blueprint of areas of our lives. As eyes continue to focus on the blooming entertainment activities of the cultural capital of the south, fans will travel to Atlanta, GA and inevitably add their energy to the contagious vibes as each act showcases why they have staying power.

The Soul Series at The Fox Theatre, in Atlanta, and others around the world, are needed in order to further spread OUR message in OUR music. We need to spread the word of not only having a great time at a party; but to also come together on one accord as a community, as a people, and as one.” Shannon Steward, Avery Dey Entertainment

Music enthusiasts gathered Saturday June 3rd for “All Atlanta Show” where some of our favorite crooners took the stage.  The highly anticipated concert which has sold out for the last three years featured Grammy winning and multi-platinum selling group, 112 who is working on their next project and Grammy nominated group. Jagged Edge is coming up on 20 years since the release of their debut album, A Jagged Era.  Silk is celebrating almost 30 years in the industry and the one year anniversary of their 7th albumQuiet Storm’s release and Multi-Award winning artist, Bobby V made his acting debut in the BET acquired movie, “Hollywood Hearts” alongside Lyfe Jennings, Benzino, Carl Payne, and others in 2016, so it was indeed a pleasure to see all of these brothers on stage doing their thing!

Award-winning host, MC Lightfoot entertained like only he can….lol.

The show kicked off with Mr. Casanova himself Bobby V. He performed some of his well known hits such as Beep Beep and even hit us with a few old school classics from RKelley and HTown. And in true Valentino fashion, he passed out roses and his latest CD and graced the audience with some of his newest cuts.
It’s so important to keep Good Music alive.  It (R&B) is love music and we all still need love music!”  Multi-Award Winning Artist, Bobby V

Karli Redd of Love and Hip Hop ATL gave us a surprise intro for Silk:

Silk opened their set with the song that got us all in trouble in the 90s: Lose Control…lol
112 had the crowd dancing, swaying, and ready to throw shoes because they were SANGING!!!
And closing out the show was Jagged Edge. Yep, you remember “Let’s Get Married”
This show was indeed an awesome trip back to the 90s, as well as a reminder that our favorite groups are still producing great music for us R&B lovers. We highly recommend that you get your tickets for the remaining shows ASAP as they sell out quickly!
