Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival – On Sale NOW

Fox Theatre Announces 2017

Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival FULL Lineup

Discounted Tickets Available NOW Through July 1

The Fox Theatre today announces its 2017 Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival schedule featuring family-friendly titles sure to entice both kids and those who are kids at heart. Guests will be singing a tune with sing-a-long versions of Walt Disney’s animated gem “Beauty and the Beast,” as well as the Julie Andrews’ timeless classic “Mary Poppins.” Additionally, wizards and muggles alike will be mesmerized as all eight “Harry Potter” films will be showing at the Fox Theatre with triple- and double-headers throughout August. Fan favorite Saturday AM Cartoons will be returning, and in celebration of its 75th anniversary, “Casablanca” will have fans “playing it again” with Rick and Sam.

The festival kicks off Sunday, July 16 with a FREE afternoon at the movies! To celebrate the Fox Theatre’s rich and storied history, guests are invited to enjoy a double-header of GPB’s “The Legend Lives On: Atlanta’s Fox Theatre” paired with the Walt Disney classic “Steamboat Willie” –  a nod to the Fox Theatre’s magnificent 1928 grand opening, in which a sold out audience experienced Mickey Mouse’s first feature film.

As in previous years, Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival will showcase films on its impressive 26-foot high x 56-foot-8-inch wide big screen. Patrons will enjoy movies under the “stars” beneath the Fox Theatre’s distinctive blue sky with twinkling stars and fluffy clouds, and for select showings, a magical pre-show experience including a sing-a-long with a vintage cartoon and performances on the world-renowned Mighty Mo organ.

To extend the movie-going experience, the Fox Theatre offers exclusive Movie Tours prior to select film showings. Guests will be taken on guided tours through the projection booth, screening room, celebrity dressing rooms, and the iconic Fox Theatre stage – all while learning about the history of movie palaces and Mr. William Fox’s innovations.
