WNBA home opener Atlanta Dream hosts the Chicago Sky at the new but temporary home at the Georgia Tech campus McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta, Georgia. 75-71 was the final score the Dream losing a close match up in front of the home crowd of modest attendance. This was Atlanta Dream second lost of the season, splitting the current match up with the Chicago Sky 1-1. These to power houses in the WNBA play each two more times later in the season.
