There was an atmosphere of safety, vulnerability, sisterhood and healing in the Sweet Spot Vtox Boutique in Atlanta, GA this Saturday during the 1st HERising session facilitated by the non-profit foundation Healing Her Hurt (HHH).
The co-founders of HHH, Mary B. Morrison (New York Times best-selling author and Relationship Sexpert), and Aje Wu-RA (owner of the Sweet Spot and Certified Holistic and Wellness Coach) co-facilitated an evening of various writing assignments and interactive discussions to allow participants to openly and freely introspect and express past issues of abandonment, abuse, preconditioning and most importantly, healing.
The mission was accomplished. The number of ladies involved was perfect and allowed everyone to opportunity to share their heart, receive feedback and edify each other. At the end, everyone requested to be able to meet again on a consistent basis to meet, network, support each other and support the ladies that participate in future events.
This month’s session was sponsored by J. Micheal Seward of Events & Extravaganzas of the Southeast (and the beautiful thing is that all of the initiatives of HHH are sponsored by men who have an interest in the healing of women). The ladies also received a gift bag full of goodies, including an autographed copy of one of Mary’s most popular novels).
